Steffen Farms are nestled in the sandy hills of the Wabash River in northwest Parke County, Indiana and are surrounded by covered bridges and historic barns. We currently grow about 30 acres of produce a season and market the majority of it directly to our customers at our three farm market locations in Indiana and Illinois and through a farm share (CSA) program. As owner/operators, we, Ken and Patsy (Pearson) Steffen, have brought together two very different but complementary farms (see history): Pearson's Melon Farm and Quiet Springs Farm. This marriage of farms provides our customers with a more extensive range of produce items over a more extended period of time (see produce availability).
